Cryptopsy - The Unspoken King

This was really disgraceful to listen to. I was never expecting any big things from them when I heard about Lord Worm leaving and the new members and all... but this... this... holy fuckin' shit, it sucks so much its not even funny anymore. From absolutely jawdropping days of "None So Vile" to... THIS? The new vocalist is total fucken hcx bullshit GARBAGE with his weak and laughable hc vocals (and what the fuck are those clean vocals??? I have only three words: total emo bullshit) and the riffing... the riffing is so weak and plastic sounding, there is nothing left of the Cryptopsy and their fucked-up way of writing songs. And Flo Mounier... was he lost when they started this project !!!! :(

What the fuck happened? Why, oh why? Why CRYPTOPSY?
I am kinda very sensitive about this band.

Seconded. Man they sounded terrible. I wasn't expecting gold mine out of em' but still... They destroyed Cryptopsy.

Missed the Suffocation concert last month because they didn't play anywhere but the infamously shitty Peabody's Down Under. But good news is their management group said they've signed with a new agency so they're going to playing other locations in Ohio.

But I still want to move to New York. Ohio sucks.

But it sucks to miss out your favorite band. Though I haven’t been to suffocation but I can imagine the madness.
But all I am targeting is Agalloch live. I am lost in their tranquil music these days.
+New motorhead is kinda keeping me busy too.

Makes me wonder why Flo didn't do the smart thing and disband Cryptopsy while he still could to preserve their legacy, and start this new band under a different name. :hmm:

I think it's an okay offering, once you get past the fact it's a Cryptopsy album, and try to block out those goddamned vocals. As one viewer on YouTube put it: "his voice sounds like a man giving birth through his japseye."
