Cryptopsy - The Unspoken King

This was really disgraceful to listen to. I was never expecting any big things from them when I heard about Lord Worm leaving and the new members and all... but this... this... holy fuckin' shit, it sucks so much its not even funny anymore. From absolutely jawdropping days of "None So Vile" to... THIS? The new vocalist is total fucken hcx bullshit GARBAGE with his weak and laughable hc vocals (and what the fuck are those clean vocals??? I have only three words: total emo bullshit) and the riffing... the riffing is so weak and plastic sounding, there is nothing left of the Cryptopsy and their fucked-up way of writing songs. And Flo Mounier... was he lost when they started this project !!!!

What the fuck happened? Why, oh why? Why CRYPTOPSY?
I am kinda very sensitive about this band.

I AM BACK AGAIN. It feels great as I see panorama of my vacations in front of my vision. But soon things are going to be miserable as I will be obscured under the books as exams aren’t that fuckin’ far. But chuck that … I have this extreme fuckin’ news that finally I opened the thorax of cadaver and held the lungs and heart in my hand. This heart looks fuckin’ tremendous when one holds it in hand. It seems as if you are holding the key to death in your hands but realism screams that lungs also hold the life. Body buried under formalin isn't so different from wax model but those eyes of the corpse reflect this creepy tranquil vibration.

Beside that music is going sturdy, I am listening to quite some Indian Classical Instrumental and now I am just about to lay my hands on new drudkh and ulver.


NEWS:

The Norwegian party Venstre (socialist liberal) has proposed that all illegal file sharing should be legalized. They haven’t put much thought behind the populist proposal and the rationale is basically that since the music is there people should be allowed to consume it freely...

So, in response to this the Norwegian metal band ENSLAVED took a cab out to the Venstre party leader’s farm (he happens to be a sheep farmer) and "downloaded a sheep" with the same kind of motivation: free roaming sheep are available and should be consumed! The sheep was then brought back to the Norwegian parliament, quite an effective statement. Video: [link]

I AM BACK. Finally got 5 days off from regular college plus top-heavy slogging of college seems to be fading and is turning into excessive ear-ossicles exercise (HAIL MUSIC).
Here I am … back on DA and looking forward to threads.
Med is frenzied fun as I’ve been in recital with dead bodies. It was fun … Peeling of skin fascia and observing the muscles and bones. Woah !! Lucky them … I aint cannibal or scavenger!!
Music is always on my pistons … never out of fuel. I came across some good albums but DSO is still engulfing me. Let me throw some ballistic updates on you, I got my hand on new Xasthur, Blut Aus Nord, Orange Goblin, Immolation, Shining and Detonation. So I have some home-work to do in these 5 days. Guys I have been super active out here on DA and surely enjoyed forums from my core. Alas I was almost clueless about un-metal artists. sucks.
Now I’ll be occupied with university projects from 10th August onwards. So that means less time on DA. Sucks. I’ll probably catch up on weekends. Still better. So don't mind my late fuckin' replies and thanks.

After hearing Si Monvmentvm Reqvires I knew this was something astonishing, but still I couldn't figure out the whole album at once...It dragged me down the long path of sorrow, until the essence of this album enlightened me with dark joy.
It’s difficult to get over dark and beautifully gloomy chanting... The compositions that follow are filled with a growling voice, like a constant prayer that will submit you to the dark one. Yes!! I am talking about masterpieces like Si Monvmentvm Reqvires and kenose.
Now DSO is back and that too with a sound of billions of orc horns. You will hear em’ even if you go deaf. *I am serious*.
Fas - Ite, Maledicti, in Ignem Aeternum (Go, cursed ones, into eternal fire) … gaze at the title … This is just the beginning.

Evolution!! I witnessed the emotions, meanings and images through sound. The opening track Obombration is a real tension builder, to climax in vocals. It dies slowly and gives birth to new pandemonium.

Then the sound of a golden horn, silence...Frantic, almost hysterical riffs welcomes you in tracks like The Shrine of Mad Laughter and especially Bread of Bitterness. Guitar tones are damn crispy, and you can feel them again like you just hammered on them.
Songs like Bread of Bitterness and The Repellent Scars of Abandon and Election reflects this beauty in their music. Be it only halfway, from there the hysteria of songs engulfs you completely. A sound that's a bit fuller, but as clear as the predecessor and harsh at the same time. Vocalist isn't screaming, nor is he grunting. He is sort of telling the story with a transformed voice. \m/ \m/ Drums...yes the drums are excellent, sounds sweet as hell. And then comes Obombration to end this journey filled with dark melancholy or I must say 'dark joy'. It’ll leave you with hallucinating sounds of cursed ones, burning into eternal fire.
